Day One: Strengthening the Relationship Between Business and Family Life
The Chamber Week Celebration commenced on Tuesday, 22nd September 2026, with an insightful and engaging presentation delivered by Madam Margaret Jackson on the topic “Business and Family Life: Balancing Entrepreneurship with Family Responsibilities.”
During her presentation, Madam Margaret Jackson highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between business commitments and family responsibilities. She emphasised that while entrepreneurs strive to grow successful businesses, they must also dedicate quality time and attention to their families.
The session underscored the importance of effective time management, communication, mutual understanding and family support in achieving both business success and a fulfilling family life. Her presentation provided valuable lessons to participants, reinforcing the message that a successful business and a strong family can complement each other when properly managed.
Day Two: Empowering Businesses Through Financial Knowledge and Stress Management
The second day of the GNCCI-Accra Chamber Week Celebration, held on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026, focused on two important areas of business development: Finance for Business Growth and Stress Management.
The financial session featured a presentation and business clinic by Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), providing participants with valuable insights into financial management, business financing opportunities, credit facilities and financial products designed to support business growth and expansion. The session also highlighted the importance of sound financial planning, effective resource management and building strong relationships with financial institutions to ensure business sustainability.
Another important aspect of the day’s programme was a session on Stress Management, which addressed the challenges entrepreneurs and business owners face in managing the pressures of running their businesses. The discussion highlighted the importance of recognizing stress, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, managing time effectively and developing practical strategies to cope with business-related pressures. Participants were encouraged to prioritize their personal well-being while pursuing their business goals, recognizing that effective stress management contributes to better decision-making, improved productivity and long-term business success. The day’s activities reinforced the message that successful entrepreneurship requires not only financial knowledge and access to capital but also the ability to manage stress and maintain personal well-being.
Day Three: Embracing Artificial Intelligence for Business Growth
The final day, Thursday, 24th September 2026, focused on “AI for Business and Development.”
The session highlighted the growing importance of artificial intelligence in today’s competitive business environment and its potential to transform the operations of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Through discussions and demonstrations of AI tools, participants explored how technology can improve productivity, enhance customer service, support business decision-making and create new opportunities for innovation and growth.
The session emphasized the need for Ghanaian businesses to embrace digital transformation to remain competitive in an increasingly technology-driven global economy.
