Association of Ghana Apparel Manufacturers (AGAM)
AGAM is a business network and advocacy association with membership from the Apparel, Garments and related manufacturers/producers whose chief mission is to promote apparel business interest.
As the nation’s largest apparel-based business advocacy organization, we employ about 5,000 workers and export $16 million (as at 2019) worth of products annually from Ghana.
Members of the association have an industry expertise averaging 30 to 40 years both internationally and locally. AGAM is currently partnering with Ministry of Trade and Industry in the production of PPE’s in the fight against COVID-19.
VISION:
To make Ghana the preferred apparel, garments, textiles and related manufacturing hub in Africa for the major global brands.
MISSION:
To be a nonpartisan business advocacy association that works in the legislative, regulatory and political arenas to proactively drive positive change to ensure that Ghana is a leading place in the sub-region to do apparel, garments, textiles and related business whilst promoting the growth and welfare of our members.
