Pursuing its vision to become a major supplier of street lighting technology in Ghana and the West African market, PREFOS LTD has constructed an ultra-modern factory with state-of-the-art facilities at Adako-Jachie near Ejisu in the Ashanti Region for assembling imported street light components for distribution. Facilities in the factory include a modern street lamp assembling line, a testing laboratory and a show room.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company as part of efforts to train and equip the youth to carry out post-installation maintenance and serving of streetlights in their communities, has established the Prefos Electrical Training College (PETC) in Kumasi. The facility, which has a hostel accommodation provides residential facilities for trainees. It is expected to create over 2,500 jobs for the youth from the Various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies.
