TRICORN AUTO TRADING COMPANY LIMITED (TAT) is a wholly Ghanaian owned incorporated company dedicated to providing a total solution to the acquisition and maintenance of vehicles, office furniture, computers, computer accessories and personal protective equipment; by providing the most durable and best quality products for Ghana and the entire West African sub region backed by the most complete after sales services.
TAT delivers well known and trusted brand names like Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, VW, and BMW amongst others for the vehicles; whiles working with top manufacturers like Deli and other reputable OEM manufacturers for office furniture and supplies, Personal Protective Equipment (N95, N99 Nose masks, coveralls, safety boots, specialized suits for mining, oil and gas, etc) and IT supplies (printers, toner cartridges, computers and accessories). TAT also specializes in the supply of specialized vehicles for the mining, security, medical, oil and gas sectors of the sub-region, such as Cash In Transit Vans, Armored Bullion Vans, Ambulances, Mobile clinics, and vehicles for the Security Forces.
HISTORY
While working for Gold Coast Motors Ltd as Commercial Manager, Mr. Michael Aggrey saw that purchasing a new car for the majority of Ghanaians, even most companies was a herculean task. He came up with an idea to help companies, government agencies, religious bodies, academic institutions, and individuals to have access to the right kind of vehicles to meet their peculiar vehicular needs.
Tricorn Auto Finance Company was born out of this vision in September of 1997, and has done what it set out to do, providing consultancy services to its target market in the acquisition of vehicles to meet the diverse needs of each sector; providing a very cost effective source of acquiring these vehicles and giving driving pleasure to its numerous customers.

CEO’S PROFILE
Michael Odum Aggrey is the visionary and founder of TAT. This vision was founded on speedy service, excellent product delivery and quality service assurance. He has over 30years’ experience in business development, consultancy, and management. Mr. Aggrey has worked in various fields including finance, banking, insurance, automobile and real estate development.
Mr. Aggrey worked with Standard Chartered Bank (Ghana) Limited from 1978 to 1980 as the Economic Research Officer and later Business Development Analyst. He also worked with Liberty Life Assurance, and Hansard International both in the UK, as a Financial Executive between 1982 and 1992.On his return to Ghana in 1993, he worked with Gold Coast Motors Limited, as the Commercial Manager and later became the General Manager in charge of Sales and Service.
Mr. Aggrey holds a Master’s Degree in Development Finance from the University of Birmingham UK, and BSc (Hons) in Economics with Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon.Mr. Aggrey currently holds directorship positions in four other companies in Ghana, including Ideal Capital Partners, Ideal Financial Holdings, KABB Investments Ltd., and Interhealth Consultancy Ltd.
Mr.Aggrey has four start-ups to his name, and with his assistance can be found in companies such as Momentum Ghana (now Metropolitan Health), More Loans Ltd, Oracam Ltd and Formal Decor. Michael Odum Aggrey is an ardent golfer; and has served as the Captain of Achimota Golf Club from 2008 to 2010, and currently is the President of the Ghana Golf Association.
